From 28 November to 3 January, the Vrijthof will be transformed into a veritable winter wonderland. Complete with skating rink, big wheel, Venetian children’s roundabout, grand carrousel and beautifully lit Christmas trees, Maastricht becomes Winterland. You can seek out original Christmas gifts at the partly covered Christmas market.

Or savour a glass of glühwein in Café Winterland. Or even enjoy poffertjes, oliebollen, reibekuchen or waffles. Winterland is something you shouldn’t miss!
