Municipalities in Holland - Netherlands

All provinces of the Netherlands are divided into municipalities (gemeenten), together 441 (2009). Recent politics have led to a great number of mergers between smaller municipalities or with cities, a process which will continue in the future (with a few mergers set to occur on 2009-01-01 and 2010-01-01). On 15 December 2008 Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius will become part of the Netherlands per se with a status equivalent to that of municipalities.

Accommodatie Eurovisie Songfestival 2020 - Rotterdam

Hotels for 12, 14 and the final on 16 May 2020 around Ahoy Rotterdam

The Eurovision Song Contest has been an annual presentation and competition of songs since 24 May 1956 and is broadcast on television throughout Europe; since 1967 the festival has also been broadcast in countries outside Europe. You can also follow the festival on the internet. The festival owes its name to the Eurovision TV Distribution Network, part of the European Radio Union (EBU). Every active member of the EBU can participate in the song festival, which means that some countries that are just outside of Europe can participate. It concerns countries in North Africa, the Middle East and West Asia. Since 2015, Australia has also been participating in the festival despite the fact that it is not a member of the EBU.
